About Providence, Divine Action and the Church

In this blog, Terry J. Wright posts thoughts and shares research on the Christian doctrine of providence. This doctrine testifies to God’s provision for all things through creation’s high priest, the man Christ Jesus. However, the precise meaning and manner of this provision is a perpetually open question, and this blog is a forum for discussion of the many issues relating to providence and the place of the Church within God’s action.

Conference Announcement: Multi-Cultural Churches: The Next Step

In addition to the forthcoming conference on Lamentations and lament, Spurgeon’s College is also pleased to announce a conference scheduled for 30 November 2012 entitled Multi-Cultural Churches: The Next Step.

The four speakers are Joe Kapolyo (on reading the Bible and preaching multi-culturally), Rupert Lazar and Malcolm Patten (on analyzing multi-cultural churches), and Pat Took (on power shifts in multi-cultural churches). There is also the possibility that workshops will be held.
